WhatsApp Business API Activation procedure: – Before a business can access the WhatsApp Business API each client has to go through these steps following:

* To create Facebook Business ID (With a verified business)

* A valid phone number with the ability to receive phone calls or SMS.

* A referral link (supplied by us)

* A callback server provided by us.

The approval procedure includes the following steps.

 Facebook Business Account: – You need to have a Facebook business account or ID before you proceed to the WhatsApp approval process. To find your business ID, log index the Facebook Business manager of the business settings. The Business Manager ID is displayed under the business name. If you don’t have a verified Facebook business account, you need to create Facebook Business Manager.

* Go to link business.facebook.com/overview*

Click create account

* Enter a name for your business, your name and work e-mail address and click next.

* Enter your business details and click submits.

Message on behalf request: – After the Facebook Business ID is provided, you will receive a message on behalf request.  You need to accept so Prasar Digital Media can send message on your behalf with your Facebook business manager ID.

Verify your business client account: – Start the process of verification

Verifying your business in Facebook Business manager. This procedure helps to protect users from false informations.Attention please once you have completed the official form with the legal business details then you won’t be able to change them.

* Go to security centre and click start verification. If you have not logged into your business account, the button will be grayed out.

* Enter your business details, click next and select your business from the list.

* Select a phone number and confirm details. After you received the verification code, Click the submit button. Phone number

Display Name & Review process: – After the verification successful, you will be able to add your phone number and the business name or Display name for your WhatsApp business profile. During the WhatsApp approval procedure, the WhatsApp team reviews the client’s request according to the WhatsApp Business policy. You can check the status in the Facebook business manager account. * What you can do with the test API Key:- API Key is connected with your WhatsApp mobile number. Ensure your use of the WhatsApp Business API products complies with these policies and guidelines.

* Maintain a WhatsApp Business profile with customers support contact information and one or more of the following email address, website address, and phone number.

* Keep all information accurate and up-to-date.

* You may only contact people on Whatsapp if: (a) They have given you their mobile number; and (b) They have agreed to be contacted by you over WhatsApp. Do not confuse, deceived, mislead, spam or surprise with your communications.* you may not send advertising, marketing or promotional messages unless in the 24-hour window. As defined below.

Responding to a person who contacts you directly as a result of an advertisement. You have placed on a surface outside of a WhatsApp chat threads is permissible as long as that advertisement does not conflict with the commerce policy.

* You must respect all request (Either on or off WhatsApp) by a person to block, discontinue or otherwise opt out of communications from you via WhatsApp, including removing chat person from your contact list.

Acceptable Message Types: – You may only initiate chat if you are sending a transactional notification and only via approved message templates, subject to applicable pricing. Any message templates must comply with our terms and these policies and only be used for their designated purpose. We have the right to review, approve and reject any message templates at any time. If a person initiate a chat with you, you may continue that conversation via whatsapp for up to 24 hour after the last message sent to you by that person without charge (24 hour window) Outside of the 24 hour window, you may only send messages via approved message templates for which we will charge the applicable rate 45 Paisa.

Prohibited & Updates: – We may limit 2000 characters or remove your access to or use of the WhatsApp business products if you receive excessive negative feedback, cause harm to WhatsApp or our users or violate out terms or policies.

* WhatsApp may update this WhatsApp Business policy (change) without notice (Unless such notice is required by law) ; by continuing to use the WhatsApp Business products after such change.

* If you are discussing, offering or completing sales of goods or services, including sending messages in connection with such offers or sales, trade in promote, endorse, commercially deal any of the goods & services prohibited by the commerce policy

.* Messages must not contain of the offensive content for example sexually explicit materials or nudity.

* Organizations & must not wrongfully discriminate or suggest a preference for or against people because of a personal characteristic , included but not limited to race , ethnicity, color,national origin, citizenship , religion , age sex , sexual orientation, gender identity, family status , marital status , disability or medical or genetic condition. Organizations must comply with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination.
